‘Currently over 5 trillion pieces of plastic litter the ocean’, isn’t this fact so confronting? I see our beaches as a safe haven, a spiritual place to escape, feel warm, breath its clean ocean air and embrace and respect its natural beauty.

For a while now my inspiration has come from nature, from the organic shapes, the smell, the sound and textures that it naturally takes. Driftwood in particular, is a texture that I have been drawn to a lot.
